Audio ConfigThis app help to centralize all audio settings related like various streams volume control, mute-ness and default action to take when headset plug in or plug out in one place. Although most other apps already have something similar, the option to control some of the features are spread around where you need to hunt around for the correct settings to change.
Below two settings are independent of each other.
• Tap Audio to set what action to do whenever headset is plug in or out and then tap Start/Stop the service.
• Tap Volume to set the various streams volume control and mute-ness.
Important points to note:
• Since audio settings require interfacing to the audio hardware, I have used what Android SDK provided but for certain Android-based smart-phones hardware manufacturers, they may not perform what is defined in the SDK.
• Spend the 15 minutes trial to see if your own Android-based smart-phone hardware can do what this app advertises.

Auto Lock-UnlockBack in the old days when smart-phones are not the rage yet, the phones we have usually have those keypad lock mechanism. It help to prevent accidental press of buttons on the phone when we tuck our phones into pockets or bags etc. Then when we want to use the phone again, we unlock the keypad lock.
Fast forward to current smart-phones mania. Android has a similar keypad lock mechanism built in. When you do not use yours for a while, the screen goes off and then when you want to use again, the screen turns on and the keypad locked. Depending on which Android phone manufacturer you bought from, you can do some settings change to control this behavoir to a certain extent but it may not be entirely satisfactory.
The complain is the number of swipes needed to unlock the keypad can be a lot if you multiply the number of times you do that each day x 365 days. This app helps to do away with those time-wasting swipes to unlock the keypad. It uses a simple idea. If the screen is turn off, then the keypad is locked automatically. When you want to use and the screen turn on, the keypad is unlocked automatically. To start this behavoir, tap "Start". To stop this behavoir, tap "Stop". It is that simple.
Please note this is a software approach so if there are manufacturer proprietary settings control or third party apps like Screen Lock with password etc feature, it cannot override. You can turn that off and then this app will work as advertised. It works purely based on Google provided Android SDK.

Batch Image ResizerFor some people who has a need to resize images in batches of many, this app is to serve the need.
To configure, set the input folder (at least one), image resize width and height, output folder (one). Tap Execute Rule to start resizing those images fulfilling the criteria or tap Save Rule to save the configuration to be re-used later.
Important points to note:
• Only images of JPG,PNG can be resized as provided by Android SDK
• If you wish and want to be extra safe, make a copy of the folder you set to resize images so you can recover your files if the app resize the images wrongly

Battery Charged AlertFor ppl who are still paranoid about over-charging their smart-phone battery (which is highly unlikely), this app allow you to trigger a ringtone alarm when say battery reach 50%-100%. This alert you when the charge is completed.
For ppl who face limited power socket for charging (say in some hotel or motel room for e.g) and you have multiple devices that need to use the socket for charging, this app allow you to configure 50%-100% to alert you so you can un-plugged your smart-phone to allow other devices a chance to use the power socket to charge.
To configure, set Ringtone for alert, select the percentage you want to be alerted when the battery charge reach and tap Save. Finally remember to tap Start to start the service.
Important points to note:
• Set screen timeout to be longer so the ringtone can play longer to get your attention.
• Disable any screen lock because it may prevent the app from waking the smart-phone up to play the ringtone.
• With 15 minutes to test the app, if you find not enough time to test, you can get it first and if not satisfied, drop me an email and I will do a full refund.

Bluetooth AlertFor some people who use Bluetooth in your Android smart-phone to transfer files or use Bluetooth headset, there will be times for some inexplicable reasons, the local or remote Bluetooth device seems to auto disconnect. For users who are doing lengthy file transfer, you want to be immediately notified by a continued non-stopping ringing tone so you know the file transfer has stopped. For users whose Bluetooth headset accidentally fall off and get disconnected, you want to be immediately notified so you can start re-tracing the steps where you drop it so you can retrieve it.
To configure, set Ringtone for alert, select you want to be notified when local Bluetooth or remote Bluetooth device disconnect and tap Save. Finally remember to tap Start to start the service.
Important points to note:
• Set screen timeout to be longer so the ringtone can play longer to get your attention.
• Disable any screen lock because it may prevent the app from waking the smart-phone up to play the ringtone.

Call PurposeSome users are given company issued phones. The phone bills are paid for by company too. However some companies would like to ensure that calls received and dial-ed out are strictly for business purposes. Hence they would request for each call that is ended, the call purpose should be attached. This allow company to check and tally with the monthly bill issued by the service provider.
Use the main app to create new call purpose follow by tap Start Service. Then when you dial out or receive a call, once you end it, a screen will appear where you can then select the call purpose and tap Add or Ignore if you don't want to attach a call purpose for the last ended call. Tap Search log to see all the past history.

Carpenter AidThis app provides a feature that some carpenters or those in the wood log industry may need. Given a log, how many different dimension rectangular board size can be 'get' out from it. By varying the dimension size and quantity, the most optimal number of boards can be determined from the log without too much wastage. Feature to set price per sq ft, per sq m etc is also provided so that carpenter/wood seller can determine the total cost for all the boards versus the cost for the log itself.
Tap Convert log to get the total volume for the log. It can have different measurement units in it's computation. Tap Set unit price to set the price per sq ft, per sq m. This value will be used in the computation later on in Add board screen.
Tap Add board and set the length, width, thickness, quantity and the price. Tap total price and at the bottom there is a price and volume running total computed as you save more boards. Tap Board summary to see all the records you have saved in Add board screen. From this screen, long tap to edit or delete the individual record.

Check BrowserFor users who use the Android default Browser app to surf Internet, the bookmark and history URL is a commonly used feature. However sometimes you accidentally delete the bookmark or history URL and then one fine day you desperately want to go to some URL but it is no longer in the bookmark and history URL anymore.
This app serve as a "bookmark and history URL back-up app" for the Android default Browser. To search all bookmark and history URL in Android default Browser, just tap Srch Browser. At the search results screen, tap Save All to save them to this back-up app.
To search all bookmark and history URL in this app back-up, just tap Srch This App. At the search results screen, tap Delete All to delete them from this back-up app. To copy individual URL so as to paste them elsewhere, tap and hold and tap Copy URL <url>.

Check Call LogThis app provides a simple search with order criteria screen for all your Call Log that come pre-installed with Android smart-phones. It allow you to narrow down the call log to a selected date range, show total incoming,outgoing,missed minutes for that selected date range, Delete All feature to delete at "one shot" call logs for that selected date range.
Other uses include trying to find out which number call you or you call them longest or most frequently, see only missed calls from Unknown or number in your Contacts etc.

Check ContactsThis app provides a simple search screen for your Contacts. It allow you to search by contact partial name,email address,company name. To search all contacts, just leave the Partial Name,Email Address,Company Name fields empty and tap Search.
At the search results screen, you can check a group of them and tap Action. The pop-up dialog allow you to update your earlier selected contacts phone number Ringtone, Send to Voicemail, Starred all of them in one tap action. This is much better than you go to update them one by one.
Second feature allows you to glance in a single search results screen all the phone numbers and tap phone icon to dial out. For SAME contact with multiple phone numbers they will be listed out one by one. This is helpful as some existing Contact app require you to tap on them to go "inside" to see all their numbers before you can dial out. This is trouble-some as nowadays more contacts have multiple phone numbers for different purposes. Listing them all out without the need to go "inside" will save a lot of time for us.

Check World TimesWhen you travel to foreign land for work or tour, very often you will change your phone/watch time to the foreign land local time. However at the same time, you also want to know what is the time in your home-land when you miss home. This is especially important when you want to inform your family and friends your home-land time the plane will land when you are back.
This app serves to show the different world timings in a single screen. Tap Add or Edit to add or remove the time zone you are interested to see. The time zones are based on your phone system provided. They may not be the same for another phone. Hence this app can work without any Internet connection. It will be useful when you are in some foreign land area where connectivity is very weak but yet you want to know the time of different time zones.

Checklist PlannerIn our daily lives, very often we uses something that resemble a checklist. Example for every grocery trip, there are some items like rice,bread etc that is a must-buy. For every trip overseas, there are some items like change money, tourist map etc. For every cooking, there are some items like sugar,salt,pepper,onions etc. We tend to prepare this list in advance and then as each item is fulfilled we will tick them off as done.
This checklist routine repeat and repeat. This app is created to make our lives easier. It uses the concept of first creating a checklist template. Then every now and then we need a new checklist, we will use the pre-configured template to generate a new checklist. This help to save us time.
First create the checklist template by tap New Checklist Template,View Checklist Template. After templates are created, we will use New Checklist,View Checklist to go about our task of checking off items from the checklist.

ConnectInspired by the familiar Connect 4 game, Connect is an application that consists of 3 games within. Besides Connect 4, there are 2 other game variation with Connect as theme that will keep you busy and occupied. Don't take too long to complete in each game though as each game's timer will countdown!

Connect IIThis is a sequel to the earlier Connect game.
Game 1 - New rule added to increase game difficulty. When the column is fully filled, existing creatures will slide down to accomodate the new creature at the top

Contact CollectorThis app is to serve some people who need an efficient way to collect very basic contact information from a lot of users in a given time span. Their contact information are NOT to be saved into the Contacts app. Usually such information could be a list of users email you want to add to a mailing list which you maintain off-line. In outdoor events, some users have very illegible hand-writing on the paper you gave them and that make it hard to put into your mailing list later on. By having the app store their key-ed in information, you save a lot of headaches.
Since it is basic contact information, the screen is simple. A mandatory name and optional email and mobile number. Tap Add and that's it. That is the very basic information required. This also make the whole process quick. Once event ended, tap Menu -> Export to export all those users information to a csv file. You can then do some fine-tuning further like invalid email address etc.

Countdown DaysThis app provides a count "down" timer to count down the number of days to the item/event date. It does not require any Internet connection so it is useful for users who live in areas where Internet connectivity is poor or unstable.
To configure, tap New Item, enter an item description and a start date, checkbox to show in Live Folder and Save. To search, tap Search to search all or key in a partial item description to do some simple filtering. To edit/delete items, you can tap and hold on those entries in the result screen and a pop-up window appear. Tap Delete All to delete all.
A Live Folder is added so you can add to the Home screen and leave it open. Whenever there are changes to those events dates as you edit the records using the app or as each day passed by, it will be updated automatically.

Country CodesSometimes you need to call to different countries for work or leisure. This app provides a quick way to get to the different country code for dialing purposes. You use it to search and then tap the item and the default phone dialer app will be launched with the country code you have selected pre-filled in. This app also does not require any Internet connection so it is useful for users who live in areas where Internet connectivity is poor or unstable.
IMPORTANT:
This app integrates with the Android Global Quick Search Box. But first you need to activate this app so Android Global Quick Search can call. Launch default Android Settings app. Look for Search and tap. Look for Searchable items and tap. Check Country Codes checkbox. That is, Settings -> Search -> Searchable items -> Check Country Codes
To use, tap on your Android phone Quick Search button. It should be somewhere near your screen. Then enter the partial (at least 3 characters) country name and a list of potential matching entries will appear. Look for items icon that is from this app. Then you tap on that item and the default phone dialer will launch with the country code pre-filled in.

Cover Open OnFor those who have a cover over your smart-phone for protection, every-time you want to use, you need to lift up the cover press power button and swipe to unlock in order to use. This is very troublesome.
This app aim to resolve the problem by trying to use the proximity sensor. Idea is simple. Once you lift up the cover, the screen is turned on for immediate use.
To configure, close and open cover to calibrate first and then tap Start to start the service.
Important points to note:
• Use the 15 minutes trial to see if your smart-phone has a proximity sensor.
• If you install third party keylock app, this app is unable to unlock them.

Diff VibratorWhen we are in nightclub or pub or public events gathering, even if we set our smart-phone volume to highest it is unlikely we can hear when a phone call or SMS come in. Hence most people put to vibrate mode so when it vibrate in our trousers pocket we know a phone call or SMS has come in.
This app serves that purpose and a bit more. It allow you to configure the vibration pattern in such a way you can know the vibrate pattern means phone call or SMS. E.g we can configure for phone call to vibrate stop 1 sec, vibrate for 5 sec then repeat all over again. For SMS, we configure to vibrate stop 1 sec, vibrate for 2 sec then repeat all over again. The different vibrate pattern will allow us to know if it is a phone call or SMS. Besides repeat all over again 'forever', you can set say the vibration last for say 15 secs.
To configure, tap Start to start the Diff Vibrator Service. Select the different vibration settings for phone call and SMS. Call/SMS vibrate pattern allow you to set 'Forever' or a fixed period of time for vibrating before it will stop. In addition, to facilitate quick stop of the vibration, a widget is added. Add it to your Home screen and then when smart-phone keep vibrating because you set the pattern to 'Forever', tap the widget to stop vibration immediately.

Download ManySome users need to download a series of pdf, doc, png etc hosted on some URLs every now and then. Repeating this download task every now and then is tedious and troublesome. This app is to make that mundane task faster and easier.
To configure, tap Setup. enter a URL description and the actual URL. Tap Add.
To trigger download, tap Execute. You can then tap the Download button besides each URL or tap Download All to download all of them.

Event TrackerThis app provides a way for you to keep track of events. Event can be say the number of times you have cold and flu, the number of times you have migraine, the number of times you have fever etc. As long as you want to track the frequency of any event, this app serves that need.
Use the main app in the app drawer to create new event. Once done, long tap Home Screen -> Widgets -> Event Tracker. A configure screen appear and you select the various events representing the different widgets. Whenever you have a cold and flu, you will tap the relevant widget and a screen will appear. Tap add and then exit. So over a period of time, you have a history of how often you have cold and flu. Repeat the same method for other events. Each widget represent each event.

File DownloadEver come across a situation when you need to download pdf, audio files from the Web and read/listen to them? This app is to serve that need. The default home page (a popular search page) will allow user to do search.
When a web page has pdf, audio links, tap and a pop-up will appear. Key in a new filename(leave blank if take default). All pdf and audio files will then be downloaded to sdcard Download folder with your entered filename. User can then use other apps to open them to read or listen.
To download files with different file extension, tap Menu->File Setting to add them so you can download those files too.

File FinderEver come across a situation when you need to search for a keyword among many text files in some folders? This app is to serve that need.
To configure, set the input folder (at least one), file extension (optional), file search word. Tap Execute Rule to start looking for text files that fulfill the criteria or tap Save Rule to save the configuration to be re-used later.
Please note the File Search Word allow Regular Expression OR Normal mode. For users not familiar with the term Regular Expression, you can ignore and always stick with Normal mode.

Gift ManageDo you have a family tradition to give gifts to your relatives and friends for festive occasions like Christmas, New Year or birthdays etc? How often you set off with a budget and then as and when you buy the gift for that receiver, you record it somewhere on paper and the most important thing of all is to keep track of the total gift cost in case you cross your initial budget or if you need to revise your gifts cost or budget? This app is to serve that need.
To use, at the Setup section, tap Occasion to enter a new occasion each time. Tap Receiver to setup the people you want to give your gifts to. These setup data will be used in the Process section when you tap Add. At the Add screen, you select the occasion and tap add to add receiver gift information. The Total gift cost is green color as long as all the gifts cost entered never cross the budget. Once it crosses, it will be in red color indicating you need to either revise budget or maybe swap gifts to lower value.

Graph DrawThis app does not aim to be a full-featured graph drawing app. What this app provides is a quick way to visualize your series of numeric data in a line chart. This is useful when sometimes you just want a graph representation of your numeric data like say your bets statistics etc. Able to save it as an image for viewing later etc.
You can key in your numeric data one by one at Setup section by tap List to create a list. Then tap List Item to create a series of numeric data for a specified list you configured in List earlier. Or if you already keep your numeric data in a simple text file, you can use the Import section List and List Item where you select a text file from your sdcard and import into the app.
Lastly, at Process section, tap Graph to select the list and set some graph settings. Tap Draw Graph to see your line chart.
Important points to note:
•The format for the text file for import should be just one line one record separated by a newline for different records.
•If you attempt to draw the graph with hundreds of numeric data, the app will crawl. Optimal data size should be around 40-60 numbers. This app is meant to be used simply not enterprise level kind of graph drawing.

Help CookThis app will not help big restaurant chefs in their daily work. What this app will help is more for small eateries, small time cooks working in food trucks, mom-and-pop eateries etc that need to serve up a lot of dishes within a short hour or two. Most of the time, waiter/waitress will take orders from their customers. They will then forward the order containing the dishes customer ordered to the cooks behind to do the dishes.
But sometimes if more than 1 customer opt for the same dish, it is more efficient for the cook to start cooking en masse for that specific dish instead. In contrast, if the cook is to prepare dishes based on each order submitted, it is not efficient as the woks or pots and utensils used for cooking, ingredients need change for different dishes within the order etc.
To configure, tap Food button and enter all the dishes the cooks is doing. Then tap Process button. This screen will be used between waiter/waitress and cook. This screen has large Plus and Minus buttons besides each dish that is configured earlier.
When order is placed on that dish, waiter/waitress tap on the Plus button. The cook will then look at the screen at all the dishes quantity order and decide which dish and how many quantity to cook first. After the cook finish cooking the dish, he/she will tap the Minus button. This mean the cook has cleared that dishes order. Repeat same pattern for other dishes. As and when the cook can also tap the Sort quantity ascending/descending button below so he/she can focus to prepare which dish first.
Important points to note:
• This app is not developed for dishes that require customization from customer. Customization could be made that menu dish more or less spicy. More or less oil. Menu side dish substitute with another side dish etc request.
• This app will serve those cooks that cater to the morning/lunch rush hour crowd that need to grab a quick bite before heading to office for work. The sudden influx of customers during that hour or two means the cook must cook fast and ideally same speed as the waiter/waitress taking orders!
Housekeep FilesFor some people who want to do simple housekeep of deleting un-wanted files in your sd-card mass volume based on files are how old, this app is to serve that need.
To configure, set the folder (at least one), file extension (optional), file time-stamp in terms of how many days,hours,minutes old at least. Tap Execute Rule to start deleting those files fulfilling the criteria or tap Save Rule to save the configuration to be re-used later.
Important points to note:
• During the 15 minutes trial, create a dummy folder where those files to be deleted to verify the deletion is correct before using it actual
• If you wish and want to be extra safe, make a copy of the folder you set to delete so you can recover your files if the app delete the files wrongly

Image PlayThis app does not aim to compete as a full-featured image editing tool. What this app does is to provide some basic image editing that beginning or novice users can pick up easily. Say you want to "blend" two images together to see some effects. You select a source and a target image. For Android provided SDK complete-ness, the Operation pick-list has a lot of choices. Try Darken, Lighten, Multiply, Screen for "blending" two images together, select Color Filter as "white" color and tap Generate button. When you have time you can try to use other Operation pick-list choices and different color from Color Filter. If you like the "blended" image you can also tap Menu->Save to save to your SD card.
It also allow you to "write" words/signature or do simple caption "on top" of the image and then save them together as one. Play with grayscape, inverted color, contrast, brightness, transparency of the image and then save them together as one. Simple cropping of "small portion" out of the main image and then save the cropped image. Although this app is called Two Image Play, you can operate like "one image play" by selecting Source and Target to be the same image for above additional features.

Interval AudioThis app does not aim to compete as a full-featured audio recorder. Neither does it aim to compete as a comprehensive 24x7 monitoring audio recorder. What it does is to provide a cheap way to do monitoring of say your baby sleeping posture, baby playing alone by themselves etc.
Since it is cheap, the idea is simple, you set a start and end time and how often between that time span to start up the audio recorder to start record and record for how long for each start up. There will be no video and hence no waking up of the device to record images, it is just pure audio recording.
To configure, set Start Time, End Time, fixed time interval (minutes) to occur, repeating, folder to store the recorded video, how long each record duration is.
Important points to note: • If you configure too often between a short time span, the app will function very badly. • If you configure the record duration to many mins each time, the app will function very badly as in before it can finish, the next interval will be triggered. • Please note since it is a cheap way, space the frequency over a longer time span and restrict each record duration to say 1-3 minutes so the app can perform efficiently as expected.

Interval CameraThis app does not aim to compete as a full-featured camera. What it does is to provide a cheap way to do monitoring of say your baby sleeping posture, baby playing alone by themselves etc by using the camera to take pictures automatically.
Since it is cheap, the idea is simple, you set a start and end time and how often between that time span to start up the camera to start taking pictures.
To configure, set Start Time, End Time, fixed time interval (minutes) to occur, repeating, folder to store the taken pictures.
Important points to note:
• If you configure too often between a short time span, the app will function very badly.
• To prevent shaking too much in the taken pictures, mount your smart-phone in a stable position and the lens facing the area you intend to take pictures.
• Please note since it is a cheap way, space the frequency over a longer time span so the app can perform efficiently as expected.

Interval ReminderThe default Android stock alarm in our Android smart-phone provides us a way to schedule alarm at exact date/time. However there will be some time when what we want is a "fixed time interval reminder over a relatively long time span" instead.
E.g your everyday work require you to use the computer for long period. You can set the interval reminder to ring every 20 minutes to inform you to take a break and rest your eyes. Or you are going to drive for hours, then you can set the interval reminder to ring every 30 minutes to 'wake' you in case you doze off at the wheel. Or any other test cases which require fixed interval reminder.
For test cases that you need to be informed in terms of hours instead of minutes say take medicine time at different hours of the day, the default Android stock alarm should suffice so this app does not attempt to compete with that.
To configure, set Start Time, End Time, fixed time interval (minutes) to occur, repeating, ringtone for the alarm.
Important points to note:
• Set screen timeout to be longer so the ringtone can play longer to get your attention.
• Disable any screen lock because it may prevent the app from waking the smart-phone up to play the ringtone.

JMX Flashcard AdThis is a flash card app to teach young kids new words/things. Only twist is the flash card is constructed based on your own pictures stored in Gallery and the audio accompanying the flash card is your own voice recording.
Before using the app, construct your own photos and voice recording for the flash cards. Use the camera to take the pictures. Then use any existing voice recording app to record the picture audio. E.g you take a picture of apple, then you record the voice apple for that picture.
To use, tap New Flashcard Set. Give a name and tap Save. Then tap Add flashcard item. Tap Flashcard(image) to bring in your jpg,png image file from Gallery. Tap Flashcard(audio) to bring in your voice recording. Tap Caption to set the caption for the flash card. Tap Preview to preview and tap Save to save the flash card. Tap View Flashcard Set for further adding or removing of flashcard item from the set.
Then go to tap Play Flashcard Set. Select a flashcard set and tap Start Play.
Important points to note:
• Camera taken pictures take up memory so if you encounter frequent error most likely it is OutOfMemory so this app is not suitable for your phone. Higher config phone should work fine.

Last CallAre you in insurance, property or other agent line of work? Very often when prospective customer call you on your smart-phone, you want to see the most recent call entries from that customer before you answer the call. This give you some before-hand understanding on the "eager-ness" of that prospective customer becoming your actual customer. It will also affect the quotation pricing you later want to tell them. You have some prepared-ness before you answer the call. This app is to serve that need.
To configure, tap Start/Stop service. Set the number of last calls to be displayed.
Important points to note: • Google Android SDK does not have API to override the incoming call screen. This app make use of an overlay on top to show the information. You need to tap exit to see the incoming call screen underneath. •Use the 15 mins trial to see if it works for your brand and model since this app does not use the SDK API.

Light OnFor those Android smart-phones where there is no default app and option to keep the screen always turn on, this app is to fill that need. Use case for such needs include retailer who like to show-cast the latest Android smart-phone, they need to keep the display set screen always turned on to attract walk-in customers attention, similar concept like TV display set. For those driving, you dock your phone and you want it to always turn on to look at those apps with directions as and when you get lost in some foreign places etc.
To configure, long tap on Home screen -> Widgets -> Light On. Four shapes in a line appear. Tap Dim,Bright,Brightest,Off. Their name indicate their function. After which you can start to activate your other apps and use them with the screen remaining turn on until you tap Off.
IMPORTANT:
• If you are also running other apps that hold a lock to keep the screen on, tapping on the Off widget will not turn the screen off. It can only turn off those previously tapped Dim,Bright,Brigtest. Since screen is always turn on, make sure the Android smart-phone is plugged to some external power else the battery will go flat very fast.

Light UpFor concert-goers, usually there will be some slow songs segment where everyone will hold up their glow sticks or zippo lighters with fire or candles etc to wave in the air and sway together with the songs performed. This app provides an alternative. You use this Android app on your smart-phone and wave your smart-phone in the air like the rest of them.
Besides the traditional single white color, you can have 3 colors that are "spread" out and they can rotate direction based on a time interval creating a special color effect in the dark of the night. Back at home, you can use this app again as a normal torch-light albeit with fancy color lights or plain white color.
To provide such feature, the smart-phone screen must be brightly lit at all times and hence it will deplete your phone battery. In concert, try to bring a spare battery along or only activate it on your most favorite slow song instead of all slow songs. Make BiggerThis app does not make the text size to be BIG in all Android apps. What this app does is to make the icon and label that is supposed to launch app to be BIG.
For our parents/grandparents or people with bad eye-sight, the Android icons on the Home screens can be too small and too many for them to hunt and tap to launch the app. This app allows you to configure those apps that they commonly use (most likely those apps with BIG text size display for them like Dialer, Calculator etc) and make the icons and label to launch the apps BIG.
You will configure for your parents/grandparents and then tell them only need to hunt ONE MakeBigger icon and tap. The screen will then appear to show their commonly used apps icon in BIG size. To launch those apps, just need to tap on the icon or label.

Many TimerThis app provides 5 timers. Each timer can be configured to count-up or count-down and also the color to appear as the display. Uses for such app is to provide a single screen where a person can monitor multiple timer events going on.
E.g a driver may have a count-up timer to count his time driving, another count-down timer to control his break etc. At any time, timers can be stopped (tap Stop) and then start again (tap Start)later and it will continue from where it last halted. To start a new cycle tap Reset and then Start.

Map LocateThis app is not created to replace Google Maps or other feature rich mapping apps. What this app does is to serve a simple need for certain group of users. Use case is you own jpg,png image files of tradeshow,house,store,apartment,garden etc floorplan and you want to draw pins on different location within the floorplan. Upon tap the pin you want to store some information for that location. So from user perspective, you see the floorplan with pins on them.
App works by assuming the jpg,png floorplan image files are split into many squares along X and Y axis. Each square is then where the app will draw pin in them.
To use, tap Setup New Map. Give a map name, tap Select Map(image) to bring in your jpg,png image file from Gallery. Give a value for number of squares for X and Y axis. Tap Preview Map to preview and notice app take origin (0,0) as bottom left corner. Tap Save to save the map.
Then go to tap View Maps. Tap Edit to change the number of squares for X and Y axis (if you wish). Tap View to see your map. This is where you start to add pins to the map. At the top, specify the X,Y value then tap Add Pin. Pin appear on map. Tap on that pin and a pop-up appear. Add your own location specific information and tap Save. Pinch to zoom in is supported. This help you to see the pin and surrounding close-up. To get back to original, tap the 1:1 button on top. Tap the Grid button to toggle grid on and off.
Important points to note: • Since most floorplan images are huge, try to scale the image in advance to dimension close to the smart-phone screen size. This ensure when the app render the image it is close to original and your pins drawn on top will look nice.

Media AlarmWe are very familiar with the default alarm which will sound on a time we set earlier. This app add more fun to it. Besides the sound, we can configure to have a picture or even a video to play along when the alarm sound.

• Only certain video format can be played. To be sure, those video captured using the stock Camcorder in the smart-phone are most likely to work.

Migraine PicMigraine sufferers usually have extensive note taking whenever migraine strike so that they can bring them to their doctors for discussion and trying to find the reason why it strike them. This app does not aim to do that. What this app is to complement the note taking process. That is, when migraine strikes, a picture of a head anatomy is tagged with label and "color" on which part of your head it hurts.
To use, tap Select picture to pick a picture from your Gallery and then tap Generate. Once picture loaded, tap Menu->Caption to write say the date. Tap Menu->Write to start "shade" the area of your head that is throbbing. Tap Menu->Save to save the picture. Repeat again when the next migraine strikes.
So over a period of time, you have a lot of pictures showing the pain on different or same part of your head. Is there a pattern etc. Hopefully with these pictures and your notes taken during migraine, this provide more information to the doctor for diagnosis.

Mileage LogSome users can claim car mileage expenses from their company due to their job nature. This app provide a convenience and fast way to log their mileage each time they go to a location for some specific purpose office related.
Tap Add to add new mileage log each time. Enter date (default to current date), location, purpose, start mileage (should only be edit at the very first time, subsequently app will auto base it from latest previous log mileage end), mileage end.
Tap Search to see all the past logs. Tap Export to export them to CSV file in SD card.

• The mileage start field should only be edited at the very first time, subsequently app will auto base it from latest previous log mileage end. For maximum flexibility and you know what you are doing, I make it editable field.
• The mileage units is intentionally left blank. Some users have miles, some have km etc. Since app keep track of start and end mileage pair format, the units does not matter so as to speak.

My Calls TimingFor those who are not on un-limited voice plan from your country mobile network operators, you are usually given only certain minutes of free calls before they start to bill you for the extra minutes every month. E.g you may be given 100% incoming calls free but only 100 minutes outgoing free. Hence you would like to keep your outgoing calls to under 100 minutes each month.
The application provides a way for you to monitor your incoming/outgoing calls usage minutes before the whole month is up. It is like some early warning buffer to curb your calls usage before they go way above your voice plan limit and incur hefty bills later.
The incoming and outgoing minutes are monitored month by month basis. Store for past 12 months statistics.
Please note this application monitored timings are estimated as it read from the smart-phone and most likely may differ a bit from the mobile network operators back-end server logs file. This app is unique as in besides setting the alarm time, you will also set the maximum hours to sleep. So every night, before sleeping, you will tap on the app widget to let the alarm re-calculate when should the alarm rings. The app alarm will not be scheduled beyond the alarm time you have set.
E.g
You set alarm time at 0700 and maximum sleep hours as 8.
If you tap widget at 2300 the night before you sleep, the app alarm will ring at 0700.
If you tap the widget at 2200 the night before you sleep, the app alarm will ring at 0600 instead as you set the maximum sleep hour to 8.
If you tap the widget at 2330 the night before you sleep, the app alarm will STILL ring at 0700 instead despite you set the maximum sleep hour to 8.
Within main app, set your own alarm time, maximum hours to sleep and then tap Save Alarm. To get the widget on home screen, long tap on Home screen -> Widgets -> My Own Clock.

Package TrackerFor ppl who like to install free apps frequently from Android Market to try out, very often you find your smart-phone out of phone memory and have to uninstall some of them to make space for new free app. Then one fine day you vaguely remember you have installed certain free app before and you are keen to know the full name but you just cannot remember.

Pair Off RandomizerEver come across a situation when you need to randomly select a person from a group to pit against another randomly selected person from another group? Or a random team from one group against another random team from another group?

If you conduct your own local competition like soccer, you use this app to pair off each team among two groups. Pause Resume PlayThis app does not aim to compete as a full-featured audio/video player. What this app does is to provide a way to pause and then resume play of an audio or sound only video. This typically apply to those long running audio or sound only video. You may want to hear say 10 minutes, pause it and exit the app. Do other things else on the Android smart-phone and then come back to resume play of the earlier paused audio or sound only video.
To configure, launch the main app and tap Start to start the service. Tap choose folder to select the folder of songs and video to play.

Phone FinderHow many times you have mis-placed your smart-phone and you try to call the number and hear the sound coming from to retrieve it. What if the smart-phone is set to silent mode or low volume at the point you mis-place? When you call the number you can barely hear it coming from the smart-phone leading to a long search time before you finally found it.
This app aim to resolve the problem. Instead of calling, you will have a special SMS text that act as a trigger code. When you mis-place again, you will SMS THAT special SMS text to your smart-phone. This app will then attempt to un-mute, set to maximum volume and keep ringing. This increase your chance of finding your mis-placed smart-phone.

Pie TimerThis "count-up timer" app is to serve two audience. For adults, you have your familiar timer display format. For young toddlers who don't know how to read numbers yet, there is a round pie or circle that act like a timer. A pie will slowly "grow" and when the time is up, a full pie or circle is formed. Parents can "strike a deal" with the toddlers based on the pie formation to control their play-time or watch tv-time or whatever. Repeat CallDo you belong to the group of users who like to dial in to participate in radio station call in contest? How when DJ open the line, all users try to dial in to get through so can win prizes? Re-dial is good when call fail to get through but it requires you to constantly tap it.
This app help to save this Re-dial step. Once it fail to get through, it will re-dial automatically again. All you need to do is let the app keep trying.
To use, tap Start service. Select a number in drop-down and tap Call. To configure the numbers in drop-dopwn, tap Menu->Search to add or delete numbers.
Important points to note: • There is no reliable way to determine when smart-phone is hang up by answer or fail to get through. Hence assume you get through answer question and win the prize, do below essential steps so the auto repeat does not repeat again infinitely.
Tap and hold on the Home button, it should show the most recent list of apps. Tap Repeat Call app icon and then tap Stop service. Then you go back to the dialing screen to end the call.

Scan In OutDo you have collection of books or CDs that have barcodes? This app uses barcode scanner to scan and check in. When you lend the book or CD to other people, you then scan and check out. This provide a way for you to keep track of your books or CDs. At any time, you can know whether a particular book or CD is checked out or checked in.
Tap scan to scan barcode. Tap Check In, Check Out accordingly. Tap Menu->Search to see all the data. Tap Export to save the data to sdcard as csv file.
To see only data specific to a book or CD, tap scan to scan that book or CD barcode and then tap Item Status.

Scan StoreAre you a small time businessman that need to keep track of your store items quantity? When quantity get low, you need to call the supplier for more? This app is to serve that need.
Tap scan to scan barcode (or key-in). Add quantity (if you want default is 1). Tap Add, Minus accordingly. Tap Menu->Search to see all the data. Tap Export to save the data to sdcard as csv file.
To configure the supplier contact number for your individual item, at the Menu->Search, tap and hold on the selected entry->Edit. In this screen, can amend quantity and tap Add to add in Supplier contact number. Once configure ok, you will see the Supplier numbers listed together with your items and quantity. Tap Dial to call that supplier.

Seal ChopThere are many reward systems parents have for kids. Instead of giving monies for job/homework/spelling/test etc well done, some parents adopt the "seal chop" rewards system. Basically whenever the kid has done something well, parent award a seal and chop on a booklet. The kid will keep the booklet and accumulate more seal chops. Parents would then say for every 20 seal chops accumulated, the reward will be the kids will have a good meal at the fast food restaurant.
This app is NOT to duplicate that booklet feature. This app is for parents to keep track of the seal chops each kid have accumulated. Very resourceful kids have 'faked' or do their own seal chops on their booklet behind their parents back. It is also easier to have a smart-phone with an app on hand to check than to bring along all the kids booklet out to check on an outing if rewards is to be realized.
To use, tap New Seal. Enter a seal description e.g Child A, Child B etc. Tap Add/Del chop to add or delete chop. Tap Save. Tap Clear then Save when say 20 seal chops have been rewarded and the reward system should start from zero again. Tap View Seal to see all the children seal chops. Long tap on each entry to do edit for that child record.
This app is designed primarily for parents to keep track of children rewards. This does not mean it cannot be used for parents themselves. E.g some eateries or grocery stores etc also adopt some kind of accumulated seal chop etc concept. Although you need to redeem with the actual store card and seal chops later on, this app can still serve as a monitoring tool during the interim period where you still have not reached the limit to do a full redeem.

This app serves that purpose. It will play the audio portion of the video clip you have selected. Then you can exit the app and do surf net and other things else while the audio is running in the "background" reading news to you.
To configure, tap Start to start the Sound Only Video Service. Select your video clip and tap Start play video.

Space TrackerFor users who like to upload download transfer files frequently, finding whether there are enough space on sdcard or phone is monotonous affair. Using the default Settings app provide that info but this widget app go further. It shows the [free space/total space] format down to the specified folder you configure. You can have multiple widgets on home screen with each showing different folder free space.
Due to performance consideration, the widget does not update whenever the free space changes underlying. Instead whenever you want to know, just tap on the widget and it will refresh itself to show the latest free space.

StatusBarAppsHave you run out of Home screens space to host your commonly used application icons? This app provide an alternative. It make use of the Notification status bar to host application icons. All you got to do is pull down, select your application and tap. This is useful when say you are inside an app and suddenly you want to launch another app. You do not have to go back to the Home screens which are cluttered with icons.
Try to put your most commonly used apps in the Notification status bar as the screen there is quite limited also. To add app to status bar, tap "Add App". To remove app from status bar, tap "Edit App". To view the existing app you have hosted at the status bar, tap "View App".

Stock TrackerThis app is NOT meant for active intra-day trader or short term investor to do their trading. This app is more targeted for long term investor who perhaps once a week or month want to take a look and track all their stocks performance in a glance. Since the app uses yahoo finance for the stock prices, it is NOT real-time. It could lag or maybe the site is down due to heavy traffic. But generally for viewing purposes, this app should suffice.
Tap Setup Stock to save the stock symbol you want to view. Set your purchase price too. If you cannot find any from pick-list, enter the stock symbol manually. Tap View Stock to see your stocks performance.

Whose TurnVery often in our daily lives, we have daily tasks that are turn based. E.g washing of toilet is to be rotated between you and your spouse. Moping of floor take turns. Wash dishes take turns. Who to take bath first, queue up etc is to be rotated between your kids and many more tasks are turn based. At any one time, you want to know who is the current person supposed to undertake this task. After this time is done, the next person will be the next to do the same task.
At the Setup section, tap Task to enter a new task. The setup data will be used in the Process section when you tap Add. At the Add screen, you select the task and add the person and their turn order for the task. This set the initial turn order.
Then to use, at Home screen long tap Widgets -> Whose Turn. A screen appear for you to select a task. Once selected, a widget will show the task current person responsible is who. Upon tapping the widget, a screen appear and you can see the other person turn order. Tap Next Round to rotate the next person in queue to the first. This is crucial else the person turn order is NOT changed.
